I must be honest, I’m a sucker for a bit of a theme in a wedding… Not that weddings without themes are lacking anything – I mean, we’re all there for love, right? – but I do love it when you can see the bride and groom have taken something they resonate with and woven it into the fabric of the day.

I’ve been noticing a lot of musical moments lately, and being the Bargain Bride I was (and still am, at heart) I thought I’d put together three of my favourites for you. Not only are these fabulous ideas, but they look great and they’d be cheap as chips to do. And if you need any more convincing, they’re eco-friendly because you’re repurposing something! Win-win-win.

PS: Yes, I have used one of my wedding ideas here. One day I will run out of my wedding ideas. One day… But not too soon. That’s the advantage of spending a whole year crafting a wedding by hand!

    1. Album table numbers
Love this idea – and it’s so customisable, because the inner circle matches your colours and theme.

    2. Vintage music sheet programmes
Yes, this was ours – how did you guess? We wanted it to look vintage, but not ancient (this one has been crumpled by a baby, so looks pretty ancient!)

    3. Musical words
I couldn’t find the perfect example of this – but I love the idea of spelling out a lyric from your favourite song (the most obvious is All you need is love, of course!)

And for all those of you wondering if people actually notice all these little details? They do… We had so many people pointing out the small artsy elements we created, and saying that they gave the whole day such a special feel.

    So go and get crafting…
    Until next time!
    Muchlove,
    Bridget

PS. See the first idea with the album table numbers? Soon i’ll be sharing a Rock n Roll wedding where this idea was taken to the max! V x

PSS. I’ll be posting intermittently over the course of the next five days as i’ll be away – if you’d like to be notified of when i post on the blog, don’t forget to subscribe and also to join the Facebook page where i offer a whole lot of other wedding inspiration
