When she’s not making the most amazing inspiration boards and wedding stationery, one of the gazillion things that Donna does is create ….ahhhh, i can’t tell you…it’s a surprise…you’ll see later today or tomorrow – i know you’ll love them though.
Any hoodlum, Donna was at the Favourite Things Winter Market on Saturday and she spotted some people’s products she loved, you’ll love them too…here’s what she has to say…
The vintage bride’s best friend are neighbourhood markets that often have that perfect little something for a decor detail or accessory. This weekend saw the launch of the Favourite Things Winter Market at Wembley Studios, Gardens. Brainchild of Kerry MacDonald, it was a very successful debut all with a social responsibility slant too (you can read Kerry’s craft centric blog here).
One of the vendors there was Leila from Bow Peep with your beautiful hand-crafted bits and bobs. I thought her products the perfect for the Vintage Bride. I just loved the beautiful bespoke bunting, one-off button badges and unique parings…I love that no two are the same! Visit her site for more inspiration.
One of my favourite things in the world is letterpress stationery…bit of a obsession actually. So, to my heart’s delight, I met Essie from Essie Letterpress (I had been stalking her site days before the Winter Fair so it was lovely to meet her in person and see some of her beautiful wares). You cannot but appreciate the paper quality and texture of the print on paper.
I thought these two offerings particularly perfect for the vintage bride! Ideal for bridal shower or wedding invitation, it would be such a personal touch to have each invitation written by hand, something we see very little in these technologically advanced days. LOVE her stuff. Sample more of her delights here.
