It all started in the 6th Century by Cai Lun in the Eastern Han Dynasty in China and the past few years has seen the revival of papercutting as an art form. So simple and yet filled with a world of possibilities.

An absolutely beautiful wedding dress designed by my favourite paper artist Rob Ryan

The king of lasercutting, this is Tord Boontje’s famous ‘Midsummer Light’ in white – a perfect feature over the main table or dancefloor (Imagenius stocks Tord Boontje products from time to time).

The prettiest embellished cake found on this site – a clever way to turn something fairly simple into something sublime

Shhhhh don’t tell anyone, but locally there is a supplier who supply a fantastic laser-cutting service

Pretty and quirky wedding invitation and bunting both by paper artist Julene Harrison found at this fab wedding site

Seriously swoonworthy shoes from Dune (their site is GREAT)
